No-Fault Auto Insurance

No-Fault Auto Insurance - A system of vehicle insurance in which accident victims, regardless of fault, are entitled to certain benefits from their insurance companies. No-fault coverage pays for some or all of the insured person's loss, but also restricts or denies the rights of innocent victims to seek justice through the courts.

Evidence These Schemes Fail to Protect the Public:

  • No-fault is designed to take away the rights of innocent accident victims
  • Innocent people are at risk of being regarded as pieces of property rather than as human beings
  • Reckless drivers are not held accountable for the accidents they cause
  • Profit margins for insurance companies are significantly higher in no-fault states
  • More than 200 organizations in British Columbia are united against no-fault schemes
